Founder’s Story:
Why I Created HARPflex

My professional journey didn’t begin in psychology it began in science.
I completed my master’s degree in geophysics at Moscow State University, the most prestigious university in Russia. There, I learned how to analyze complex systems, uncover hidden structures, and read the patterns beneath the surface.

But after just six months working in the oil industry, I realized something profound:
what fascinated me most wasn’t the earth… it was people. Their behavior. Their patterns. Their relationships.

So, I shifted my life’s direction.

I earned a second bachelor’s degree in psychology, came to the United States for graduate training at Syracuse University, and became a psychotherapist. Eventually, I expanded into corporate training, where I spent more than three decades working with leaders across four continents and over 20 countries.

Across cultures, industries, and leadership levels, I kept seeing the same thing:
Brilliant, capable professionals were getting stuck not because of skills, but because of deep early-life patterns:

the way they handled conflict,
the way they responded to criticism,
the way they led, avoided, appeased, pushed, or overworked.
These weren’t personality “types.”
They were Habitual Autopilot Relationship Patterns HARPs formed in childhood and running leadership behaviors in adulthood.

Once leaders saw their HARP clearly, everything changed:
confidence increased, stress decreased, relationships improved, and influence grew.

That insight became HARPflex.
